About Stashi

Stashi is a receipt scanner for UK tradespeople and sole traders that reads a photo of a receipt with AI and files it by job, ready to hand to an accountant.

Stashi is an iPhone app for UK tradespeople, sole traders and small businesses who collect paper receipts on site and in the van. You photograph a receipt, Stashi's AI reads the merchant, date, total and VAT, and you check the details before saving. Receipts can be grouped into folders by job or customer, shared with a customer, and exported for an accountant as a CSV spreadsheet, PDF and photos. Stashi is free to download with 3 free scans; paid plans start at £0.99 a month.

Tradespeople buy materials all day, and the receipts end up in wallets, van footwells and toolboxes. When it is time to bill a customer or file a tax return, many of those receipts are faded or gone.

Stashi is built around that one job. You take a photo, the AI fills in merchant, date, total, VAT and category, and you confirm or correct it. The original photo is stored with the record, so the details can always be checked against the receipt.

Three things set it apart from general expense apps. Receipts are organised by job or customer, not by expense category alone. Folders can be shared with a customer, so a client can see what materials were bought for their job. And the Business plan gives a team one shared receipt library, with each receipt showing who uploaded it.

Stashi is priced for one-person businesses: Lite is £0.99 a month, Plus is £4.99 a month and Business is £19.99 a month, all including VAT.
